Everybody Street!
Everybody street is a film or documentary about street photographers. These people take risks of taking pictures of everyday life without peoples consent which can result badly or sometimes they can come out looking really good.
There is one really easy way to spot a street photographer, they always have a camera on them, they may have a rucksack containing equipment i.e lenses and maybe something to protect themselves with, they do this as in some cases it has happened where a street photographer has been beaten up just for the fact he didn't asked for permission for permission to the mans photo.
i think what inspired the street photographers is us (the people) as we go about our everyday lives just wandering like ants not giving a care in the world but to capture the unique moments of this is just absolutely fascinating and i to would find this amazing to try out! For example int he photo as my header that is just an amazing image as they don't realise that they are being photographed so they just go about it where as if they did know what was going on this would create something called the hawthorne effect (a sociological term that means that people act differently if they know they are being watched) for example in documentaries in other countries the people may not actually behave this way.
my personal opinion of the film was that it was good as everyday people have taken the risk to put themselves in an awkward situation which could put them in danger for example people taking pictures looking down from a high building, what if they slipped or took a picture of the wrong person and the person reacted in a bad way... These people go out in everyday life and take pictures to show us what the world around us is really like.

Here are some images of street photography that i liked the look of!
I chose these set of images because as they all stand out for me in many different ways. For example... 1: i like because it shows us the true factors of the world and what is going on ( hoe serious poverty is). 2: I like this image as me and the 2 boys in it share the same hobby i also like it as it is a 'walk on by' type of image, which i find amazing as you have to capture the image at the perfect time or you have missed your chance of a wonderful picture. 3: Just for the fact of amazing art work in the background. 4: i have interpreted this image by thinking that although there is conflict there is always friendship between the many. |

favourite street photograph.
I really like this image because it has a lot going on at once for example people are going about their everyday lives but right in the centre, with diagonals is a man getting arrested probably for some sort of abuse. This image is in black and white, i think that this works well because it dramatises what is happening. I think the photographer got as close as s/he could without getting in trouble with the police so i thinks/he had to use their zoom as the image is not in focus all around the image and is blurry. So i think the photographer has used as wide lens camera so they could suck up all the background information as well as the main target in the centre.

photo challenge number 3: diagonals.
This idea comes from Eric Kim's wonderful photography site where it explores the dramatic situations using strong diagonal lines which adds a great effect.
Rule of thirds.
Rule of thirds is more of a guid line than a rule, as you imagine a grid on your view or camera, this is supposed to help you take better photographs. The grid is divided into 9 sections or a three by three grid. Some cameras (mainly phones) have this option.
Gillian Wearing.
Gillian Wearing is a concept artist who won the award for the british fine arts award in 1997, Royal academy of arts awarded Gillian as a member for life. Gillian photographed people of the time during the beginning of the recession in London, here are some of her photographs.

The pictures that Gillian Wearing takes are unique to street photography as the people know the are being photographed. She has also told them to write down how they actually feel.

street photography final project.
For my final project i have chosen street photography as it is a really interesting subject that has many aspects with in it. for example the challenges above are just some ways of taking photography with in street photography. For my personal project i am just going to take pictures of random people or a series of images on a road, for example coloured doors in a sequence or looking straight up at a tree. However i will keep all the images i take as i will be able to compare the good from the bad and the great from the poor. I will also be able to compare the continuity and the random pictures to see which one works the best.
i got my inspiration from pinterest to try and inspire me pintereststreet-photography.
